The goal is to try and offer good service and management so we feel written communication and transparency is important, the end result we hope will be a happy residence with like-minded people living around you.

How would you describe the apartments?
Unbeatable value as we aim at a smaller considerate low noise audience that we know will be very happy here under our management. Guests are mature and professional in this well-built, safe environment that is cozy and easy to manage with optional luxury addons from a low budget.

How does the Internet work? 
The public shared WIFI service is free with all rooms, (This is not part of your rent)
Each room has a cable and a WIFI router on the wall.
The free WIFI is not suitable for full time work at home and is limited for fair use.
Speeds are controlled and shared from 4mbs to 16mbs and will vary different times of the day.

We have partnered with GLOBAL to take care of the public and private internet connections.
Private unlimited 100 mbs starts at 350.000 IDR per month (they have 200/300mbs also if you need bigger.
Note you can also share a packet with other friends that live around you as we have a server room.

Service and support for public and private connections is not done by us.

How does the Electricity work?
Each apartment has their own top up box outside and is not included as the spending can not be managed around your rent. It is very important you keep the balance above 50 at all times because the automatic low balance alarm inside the box is something out of our control. Please help us manage this together so there is no BEEP BEEP BEEP'S which is a famous sound on Bali in many places.

Can you tell me about your Security Staff? It is the job of the security staff to keep you safe and the property to remain private to all residents. As the apartments are not suitable for social gatherings there is no need for anyone except the tenants to enter however during the day you do as you want but the Security must be made aware of non-residents visiting. At night-time the security steps up and only registered (by ID) residents can be allowed on the property. The lines of how strict this is comes down to the attitude and actions of the tenants therefor if the security chooses they can reject none residence.

Can you tell me about the house-keeping options? 
Packaged bed Linen and towels plus scheduled cleaning is arranged with management. The cost including equipment and materials is 500.000 per month which will include 2 scheduled cleans per week with 1 x bed change per week. If you wish to have more cleans per week or more linen changes please speak to us and we can upgrade your package. The cleaners do not wash plates and cups and other maid services as price above is to reflect low budget on your rent however if you want a more premium cleaner service you can ask.

How does the general water work? 
The water is from underground, filtered, stored then directed to your apartment on demand by the latest pumps by Grundfos made in Germany. ** This water you can not drink **

How many people can stay per apartment? 
The studios can support a maximum of 2 people which also will be registered to the local Balinese leadership referred to as the Banjar, this is not our choice but mandatory regardless of whether other places do this or not. This is done along with a fee we pay on your behalf which is included.

Are pets allowed? 
We love animals but it does not fit the environment so there are no pets allowed.

What about children? 
We the owners have children but would not consider the apartments a good place for them given the noise they would make disturbing others and lack of open space to play and be free. The request for children to stay would be more for short term stays and 6 years minimum.

What is the security deposit for? 
The required 1.500.000 IDR is like a insurance policy to protect you and us from friction within the time you rent a room with us, if the apartment is damaged in any way, rent not paid or items lost or damaged then this deposit will be used to cover the costs. The deposit is only refundable on check out in full if the apartment is left in the same condition as when you moved in aside from natural aging and that you give 14 notice to leave so we can relist the room as available.  Notes - The required deposit to secure a room is not refundable if you cancel a booking and not pay the rent. 
The 14 day notice period cannot be used for the first 16 days from check in.
If you are not happy for any reason and need to leave we will help you find a replacement and offer a rebate if your case is polite and clear.

Parking 
There is only one place for parking motor bikes, it is clear on the right as you come in. Do not park on the left cars side with a motor bike or in front of the building. If you require a car space you must request a space and get confirmation and a number.

Trash / Rubbish
There is only one place for trash out side of the apartments and that is at the front of the gate outside.
If you have the linen and cleaning included they will take out your rubbish twice a week but any other day please use the correct place outside the front gate at all times. Locals do salvage plastic outside, its not the best system and can look messy but we are working on a better future.

Smoking 
Berlian apartments is a NO SMOKING ZONE
Absolute zero tolerance so if you smoke we are not the place for you.
Anyone smoking will automatically lose the security deposit including friends or family visiting. Vape is fine as this does not cause long term damage, bad smell or cause trash and ash.

The hall way
The path to your apartment and outside is to stay clear and empty at all times, please keep all your things inside your room and help us keep the property to a high standard. Sorry we cannot be flexible and have tried however we do not want to complain at guests anymore.

Social and Noise
Please be aware that Berlian Apartments is suitable for those that want peace and quite and is not a social gathering environment but more of a private and professional home style.
Some people sleep early and some people sleep late so please keep the peace from 9pm to 9am.

Making the right choice.

It may seem like there is lots of rules but the end goal is for us to take care of each resident and give them a safe and peaceful place to live without being disturbed by having the apartments kept to a high standard.
